What JESUS accomplished

 

John 8:28

28 Then said Jesus unto them, 

When ye have lifted up the Son of man, 

then shall ye know that I am he, 

and that I do nothing of myself; 

but as my Father hath taught me, 

I speak these things.

What has JESUS accomplished, as Emissary for GOD?

Brace yourself, for what you are about to find out.

SPIRIT led us to these verses.

JESUS is GOD's Emissary.

Emissary is like a diplomat, a representative, a messenger.

Someone who is sent, in behalf of another.

My delight is in giving you proof.

JESUS was sent by GOD.

SPIRIT and the EMISSARY

 

Matthew 3:16-17

16 And Jesus, when he was baptized,

and lighting upon him:

17 And lo a voice from heaven,

Do you know the relation with GOD, SPIRIT, and JESUS?

Had GOD not made me born again, I wouldn't have understood Scripture.

The LORD's SPIRIT makes things plain for me.

He helps me connect the dots.

He helps me understand the Triune GOD --

GOD, the Father.

GOD, the Son.

GOD, the Holy Spirit.

All one GOD.

JESUS explains what the HOLY SPIRIT does:

John 14:16-17

16 And I will pray the Father, 

and he shall give you another Comforter, 

that he may abide with you for ever;

17 Even the Spirit of truth; 

whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, 

neither knoweth him: but ye know him; 

for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.

John 14:26

26 But the Comforter, 

which is the Holy Ghost, 

whom the Father will send in my name, 

he shall teach you all things, 

and bring all things to your remembrance, 

whatsoever I have said unto you.

When JESUS was taken up to heaven, after His resurrection, He left His apostles the HOLY SPIRIT.

GOD's SPIRIT is teacher of all things, reminds us of JESUS' teachings, and reproves the world of sin.

Just like with JESUS, whatever SPIRIT hears from the FATHER, He tells us.

He will also show us things to come.

In these chaotic days, we need SPIRIT.

Without SPIRIT, we'd all be lost.

With SPIRIT, we are always with JESUS.

2 Peter 1:16

16 For we have not followed cunningly devised fables, 

when we made known unto you 

the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, 

but were eyewitnesses of his majesty.

The Bible is GOD's story.

How He created, loved, forgave.

And how man lived, sinned, forgot, and sinned some more.

That's why JESUS, the LAST emissary, was sent.

As emissary, He is GOD's representative.

To remind us of GOD's commands.

The LAST resort, when Satan tries to keep foiling GOD's plans.

The LAST messenger, that we may finally take heed.

The LAST hope, that all hope may not be lost.

JESUS, the Messiah, died on the cross for our sins.

He was resurrected on the third day.

And yet, many refuse to acknowledge He is the Messiah.

Who has come, saved, and will come again.

Here are the Old Testament prophecies on JESUS:
